CITY OF THE SAMURAIS

We started to shoot our new project, a feature film untitled CITY OF THE SAMURAIS. Photos and details coming soon!

Super Zombie wrapped!

In the USA: Henry Steady edited the film & Pandora Machine did the dialogue edit.

In France: Fred Ibanez created the music and did some sound design.

The final is 2 minutes and 45 seconds. We posted on youtube for now.

Super Zombie

A few years ago, my son found this great concept mixing zombie with super hero. After a couple of years, I finally managed to find a short story to match my son's conceptual idea (Thanks to an article I found on Democracy Now about some kids being threatened by the army if they stopped their enlistment process).

We shot Super-Zombie in 2 weekends. You can see some pictures here. We used a canon HV30, a china ball with a 500 Watt bulb outside and another china with 250 Watt inside. For the gore scene we mixed a banana with ketchup and food coloring: It's supposed to be the brain the zombie is eating. Of course my son Joaquim plays the Super Zombie and I play the President of the United States of America but I think I'm gonna have to subtitle myself because my French accent is way too much to be understood all over the country if this short film ever manage its way on the web!
